Suzy suggested changing the spelling of “Poor” to “Pour” so I did! That’s when the Pour Decisions Bar & Grill concept came to life. Don’t Make Poor Decisions.” I joked with my wife, Suzy, in front of a group of friends about how I had the perfect name for a Bar & Grill. On February 17th, 2020, in Lake Havasu City, AZ, I saw a DUI campaign that read, “Don’t Drink and Drive. You guessed it….Pour Decisions Bar & Grill, a family establishment.Ĭuriously, the most commonly asked question around here is “Where did the name come from?” Well, here’s the story. That day also marked the opening of my 1st restaurant. After a number of other ventures, on June 23rd, 2021, at the age of 48, I finished my last construction build-out right here at Pour Decisions Bar & Grill. While serving my country with pride, the thought of owning a restaurant, someday, lingered. Navy shipped me off to boot camp in Chicago. After 5 years in the restaurant business, I graduated from high school & joined the Navy. I quickly found myself in the kitchen learning the trade from some awesome seasoned cooks. Good food, good service, good time equals 5 stars.My restaurant journey began in 1987 at the ripe age of 14 bussing tables & washing dishes at a well-known local restaurant. We will make sure to visit this place again when we make our next visit to Cheyenne. Pour Decisions Bar & Grill is a must when you are in the mood for hearty pub grub. We both enjoyed our lunch and at the end we were offered a scoop of ice cream or sherbert before we left. I opted for the crispy chicken sandwich and onion rings and my wife had the grilled chicken sandwich without a bun and fries. Speaking of food the lunch we ordered was very tasty and the portions were good. Service is outstanding and even when there is a crowd they get the food out quickly. There was six of us and they had a comfortable table waiting for us as we entered. Parking can be difficult as the lunch crowd is somewhat large. The restaurant sits adjacent to a liquor store in which we learned is owned by the owner of Pour Decisions Bar & Grill. Everyone had worked up a hunger as we took the downtown trolley ride before lunch. “LOVE THIS PLACE! We are in Cheyenne visiting my sisters and they take us to Pour Decisions Bar & Grill for lunch. Really an all-around terrific lunch experience for road-weary travelers. the wife had a Cajun chicken Caesar salad - extremely fresh greens with loads of chicken and garlic croutons in a perfect Caesar dressing - enough salad for a basketball team! Even the child's menu hot dog we ordered for our hound was easily 3/4lb of outstanding spiced tube meat! Of course the quirky decor of vintage signage, junked old cars, giant Looney Tunes statues and much more makes for a charming family atmosphere. What a meal - delicious meats, fluffy biscuits, genuine mashies were terrifically married with the gravy and toppings. I had the Mississippi Mud entree.biscuits and mashed potatoes topped with steak bites, bacon, andouille sausage and covered with brown gravy and fried onion strings. And wow was the food great and oh-so-plentiful. Thankfully, Sanford's offers outdoor pet-friendly seating which was perfect on this warm day. “We were passing thru Cheyenne and needed lunch such that our dog was accommodated.
